Move Archive can reduce space after we change the sharing level?

We are using EV 10.0.1 and just change the sharing level from within the vault store to within group on Vault store.

So the new item will check the SIS, and just save a copy if already exist.

I know the old email will not reduce but if we move the archieve to new archieve, will it trigger that so can save the space .
